What is a 5 ton overhead crane used for?

5 ton bridge cranes are widely used in welding and metalworking shops, machine building, die handling, warehouses and maintenance workshops, for both raw material and finished goods.

Single or double girder?

For most 5 t projects a single girder overhead crane is economical and sufficient. If the span is large, hook height is critical or the crane works long hours with frequent lifts, a double girder design is the better choice.

Wire rope or chain hoist?

Chain hoists are economical for short lifting heights and moderate use. For greater lifting heights, faster lifting and heavier duty, a wire rope hoist is preferred.
