FAQ

What is the maintenance interval for overhead cranes?

Overhead cranes generally need a monthly visual check, a functional test every 3–6 months and a detailed service once a year. The interval depends on frequency of use, environment and capacity. Aylen prepares a maintenance plan for each customer and tracks every visit digitally. For cranes in heavy industrial use we recommend two services per year.

What are the most common technical faults on cranes?

Motor overheating or burn-out, brakes not holding (especially electromagnetic brakes), rope wear or breakage, limit switch faults, delays or dropouts in the control system, load sensor errors and control panel short circuits. Aylen responds on site within 2–4 hours on average.

How does your emergency response work?

We provide 24/7 technical support: 1) fault report by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp, 2) technical analysis, 3) on-site inspection within 4 hours at most, 4) first response and temporary fix if needed, 5) permanent repair and reporting. Average resolution: same day, full repair within 24 hours.

What does crane modernization mean?

Renewing the electrical, mechanical or digital parts of an existing crane with current technology: motor and inverter replacement, control panel overhaul, digital or radio controls, energy-saving drives and load sensors and safety modules. After modernization energy use typically drops by 25–30% and crane life increases by 5–10 years.

What should I consider when choosing a crane?

Lifting capacity (net load, typically 500 kg to 30 t), working area (span, height, travel), frequency of use (heavy or intermittent duty), environment (dust, humidity, outdoor, chemicals) and whether the plant’s power supply matches the crane. Aylen prepares a project and offer based on these criteria.

Do you supply spare parts?

Yes: hoist and travel motors, electromagnetic brakes, wire ropes and drums, pendant and radio controls, inverters, contactors, limit switches, thermal relays, control panels and circuit boards — delivered and installed quickly.

Which regions do you serve?

We are based in Eskişehir and serve Bilecik, Kütahya, Afyonkarahisar, Ankara and Bursa with mobile teams, as well as the rest of Türkiye and international projects, including Africa.

Do you provide documents after maintenance?

Yes: a technical maintenance report, a parts replacement record with serial numbers, preventive maintenance recommendations and an optional load test report, all in digital format.

What is a maintenance contract?

A tailored periodic maintenance package with fixed-price maintenance throughout the year, priority response, periodic reports and early warnings, and spare parts planning based on your production.

How can I request a quotation?

How quickly do you respond to a crane breakdown?

We provide 24/7 technical support. After a breakdown is reported, an on-site inspection typically takes place within 2–4 hours; most faults are permanently repaired the same day and at the latest within 24 hours.

What does crane modernization include?

Motor and inverter replacement, control panel overhaul, conversion to radio remote control, energy-saving drive systems, and installation of load sensors and safety modules.

How often should an overhead crane be serviced?

Typically a monthly visual check, a functional test every 3–6 months and a detailed service once a year. Cranes in heavy use should receive two detailed services per year.

Which types of cranes do you manufacture?

Single and double girder overhead (bridge) cranes, monorail systems and custom lifting solutions.

Can you dismantle our crane and re-install it at a new site?

Yes. Dismantling, transport planning, installation at the new site and commissioning are carried out by one team.

Which spare parts do you supply?

Hoist and travel motors, electromagnetic brakes, wire rope and drums, pendant and radio controls, inverters, contactors, limit switches and control panel components.
